There is only one person in this world that knows everything about me. That’s my mom. She is my sounding board. My voice of reason. My inspiration. My biggest fan. Mom - I know we can’t talk everyday like we use to, I thought this would be a good way to share my days. This blog is for you mom. I hope you like it :)

Here's the update pics to the flooding. I can't complain these guys are fast workers.
Dry wall went up Wednesday and Thursday.
Friday they painted everything but the wall going up
the stairs was a different colour as you can see here.
Carpet samples. I think we are going to go with
the first one on the left. The taupe one.
Great to hear from you finally ... I know you had a busy week. I even thought that maybe Mike and Mary Ann would be visiting this weekend. Good to see that you went riding ... is Shannon the new riding teacher, or another one? And was that Beau? I can't remember the difference with the horses. Anyway, I thought you looked good, so I don't know why you're feeling timid ... maybe you're overthinking it.
They are moving fast with the renovations ... that's great ... hope they do good job! I'm surprised you picked the taupe carpet ... I thought you were going with the same colour as before (like the middle sample)? Anyway, you must have had a chance of mind, in any case the darker colour will not get soiled as easily.
We had fried rice last week too ... I used some leftover roast chicken and of course I also use chinese sausage. Yours look very good ... if you didn't have chicken you could have used the leftover roast beef (sliced up in strips).
Today, I think I'm going to cook a small duck (found it at Food Basic ... it's only $7 ... not always easy to find anything under $15 anywhere). Also found a bag of shrimp ($2.99!)... they're not as big as the ones I cooked for you, but they will do for the two of us.
Although it's Sunday, I'm going to do laundry and housework. The door handles (3rd set) are scheduled to arrive tomorrow ... I'm not holding my breath, but hoping that they will be the right ones ... if not I'm not sure what I'll do!
Give Liam a hug for us ... he seems to be coming out of his shell and it's great being around him. He must think we're a little strange ... sometimes I catch him looking at us and I think trying to figure out what the heck we're saying ... we must be so different from his other grandparents ... hahaha! Anyway, Dad was happy that he even tried to drive ... poor boy didn't have a choice!
Okie dokie ... take care and hope this week will be less stressful. Talk to you soon! Love and miss you! xoxo
