It was a good day today. Got a lot done but starting to feel semi-sick. Very tired and achy and sniffly. The last couple of night I've woken up at 1:30 am for a few hours. Not sure why... maybe it's the rum cake. We'll see if I get a better sleep tonight.
Went to the bank and the Euro is at 1.45 % so it will cost me $145 for every hundred I purchase. Is that a good rate??? Let me know before I buy. Maybe I will buy a bit every week? I don't know.
Liam and I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. I have one cavity and Liam has two. He sees the oral surgeon next week for a consultation. And, Jim has exams! Fun, fun, fun.

ReplyDeleteIt's been a very stormy week ... keep trying to do some garden work, but then it starts to rain ... yesterday was so windy that I thought maybe it could be a tornado coming through ... phew, thank goodness it wasn't, but there was alot of things blowing around.
After this week, it's really getting down to the wire for your trip ... planning your wardrobe, getting all your stuff together etc... you must be getting so excited. It's going to be great! You have to keep me posted on everything!!
We've been having alot of turkey leftovers... turkey squash soup, turkey salad sandwiches and tomorrow, turkey fried rice ... I don't want to see anymore turkey until thanksgiving!!
Did you see A. Minnie's email about Janet? Actually, it was a surprise to us as we just saw her the sunday before. Anyway, I've been trying to call Judy and Janet and no answer, so maybe she's in surgery already ... yikes, that would be really quick and must be quite serious. Will keep you posted if I hear anything.
