I went riding today. Rode Beau again. I heart Beau. He is the perfect horse for me. He's not too fast or too powerful and he almost reads my mind when I'm riding him. When I arrived another little girl was riding Beau for lessons. You could tell he was in work mode just trotting around, like an old man who's been doing the same factory job for decades. I swear he perked up when he saw me... I swear! It took me several minutes to ride him out of that mind frame. But, when I did what a different horse he became. We did a lot of cantering to loosen him up. Even my coach said he looked twenty years younger and happy! That's the best compliment ever.
Mostly ran errands today and now we're going to watch a movie. It was a beautiful sunny day and fairly warm... 4C, but very windy. How's the weather there?

I missed responding to this one. I think Beau loves you too! I'm sure he senses that you're not just there to work him, but that you're there as a friend to show him love and care. That is so nice that you both get something out of this.
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been really good these days, sunshine and not as freezing as the past weeks. In fact I believe it's supposed to be 11 degrees on thursday ... could spring be here?
I have absolutely no motivation to do anything these days. Every now and then I do a little housework and of course cook every day. I really should be cleaning closets and cupboards and doing my taxes too! I guess I'm either bored and/or depressed.
I don't even like going shopping anymore ... whatelse can I buy? I don't need anything or then I buy stuff that I already have ... sigh. I guess I'm slowly changing out some of my older stuff altho it's not even necessary.
Well, I guess I should force myself to do something around the house. Take care and talk to you soon.
