I'm not ignoring dad's advice. It's just I paid Jeremy under the table. Stupid. So, I'm sure I will have to pay extra under the table to get him back to do that stuff. Also, so much else going on. I will just leave it for Dad to see in a couple of weeks and then figure it out from there.
Anyways, work is terrible busy. I'm preparing for a big presentation on Monday, follow by the same presentation to their shareholders on Wednesday. The following Monday another big creative presentation and the end of that week (April 1st?) a Capabilities Pitch presentation for new business that I haven't even started. So... busy. But, I'm going to get all that work done before you come so we can spend time together. The Monday creative meeting might be changed so hopefully I can still get that day off.
Stay tuned!! At least it's sunny out. No food pics. Liam went out with his friends yesterday to Wild Wings and today he is at Rowyn's house. She made him a bacon sandwich. Tomorrow's her birthday and Liam will be going out to dinner with her and her family. Jim was at classes late last night and tonight. I'll just make myself some spaghetti and work on my presentations. Here are some more pics. Probably going to upload them to FB now too. Something like this needs to be shared - lol. Oh yes, we saw the pics on fb ... I'm surprised that people haven't started commenting already. I think they are probably confused and wondering "What the heck is Sacha talking about?". Good way to document this drama.
ReplyDeleteWow, they don't fool around ... so is the contractors following the insurance assessor's instructions? How do they know what to do or what is covered? I do hope they know what they're doing. Please followup with them.
So is Jeremy gone now? Even if you paid him under the table, you still get a receipt and can claim that, right? Seriously tho is he leaving the pipe right outside the basement or is he coming back to finish it? Followup with that too.
Thank goodness the week didn't turn out too bad weather-wise, but it sounds like you have more than enough on your hands at home and work. You still want us to come that weekend? We'll talk when you come this weekend. Looking forward to seeing you and catch up even more ... so much has been happening with you.
We had our own little problem today ... our Weiser door handles arrived (after 10 days since I ordered them), and they are the wrong colour! I was so upset and disappointed ... after tracking (UPS)the package everyday, knowing every town and time it passed through. Damn! I kept thinking it's not as bad as what you're going through. Anyway, I called the online company and they responded right away and without hesitation said they would replace the handles, but it will still take another 10 days. Can't believe they sent the wrong finish (satin nickel instead of antique brass). So we just have to wait and see ... life can be full of surprises, disappointments and flood!
