So, yesterday was pancake tuesday. We had pancakes at work for breakfast and when I came home Liam and I had leftovers but Jim wanted pancakes. Not just Aunt Jemima pancakes but crêpe-style pancakes. Thought I would take the opportunity to try a blueberry compote recipe. Honestly, it wasn't as good as the apple compote that you saw on my FB page. I just made a very small sampling. I know you love blueberries maybe you would have loved it. I didn't think it had much flavour. Maybe it was missing liqueur... hmmm. Fresh blueberries would have been better. And, yes, I can make crêpes for you when you come to visit! Do you want it for breakfast or for dessert?? Let me know what compote you would like me to make with it.
